The Portland Boxing Club Needs Your Help Making Champions and Good Citizens
Unfortunately it takes more then enthusiasm, desire and commitment to sustain a program. The Portland Boxing Club is requesting financial assistance for general operating costs. Financing is also needed for items such as amateur boxing equipment in order to provide the necessary protection and safeguard measures for our underprivileged youth. Exercise and conditioning equipment, USA Boxing registration fee and annual competition trips are needed to provided our athletes the opportunity to develop a wide range or Olympic-style boxing techniques and strategies.
The Portland Boxing Club sponsors a scholarship fund for its registered athletes.
The scholarships are granted not for athletic ability, but on the basis of an athlete's academic record and ability to succeed at an institution of higher learning.
